Cropped Juice

In this hyped monochrome-grungy euphoria (where everyone seems so likeable in the same tone), being "in-color" & "in-patterns" is likely to be a challenging idea, but a brilliant one indeed. Popping in the middle of similarity means taking the opposite direction, which never was a crime. It does need extra courage and guts, preparing yourself for some (possibly) social claims, judgements, or glares. But self-expression has no walls nor borders, no selves who can claim it wrong. 

Instead, being in colors & patterns somehow creates positive & spirited energy for our own self and others, radiating it to the whole environment. It is a good trick to create a great & happy day.

This cropped juice top seems to be one attention grabber, with its ultra eye-catching orange gradation color in dominant with mixes of green, blue, & white, creating the vibe of a blended vegetable juice. Its patterns visually look complicated from the brush strokes in vibrant colors, but if you look closer, it is as simple as a a flower pattern composed abstractly. If this was a visual art, it would be an abstract flower painting from a 10 year old on drawing paper, painted with watercolors with no formal technique, just paint here and there. But apparently, it turned out beautiful.

This is one full house party. In this case, you might not want to use any other colors outside the color compositions of this top, nor other patterns. What happens if a house is filled with people outside of its capacity? Chaos. You sure want to avoid that.

I wanted the look to look fully juiced and fresh, so then i paired it up with an orange skirt, a plain one. Since the top has a small composition of green, i decided to use some small accessories in green. The top might have some other small color composition like blue and white, but it wasn't that vibrant and would be "off the track" if i managed to use those colors for an addition object for the look, so i finished the look with some neutral essentials, like nude for the shoes & hat. Nude is always one of the best choices to close & neutralize a "bravely-shocking" look.

A pin-up picnic girl much?

The idea of a crop top might be a bit skin revealing, but i managed to overcome that by wearing a midi length skirt. The cropped top itself is purposely made to be oversized, so it wouldn't look tight on the body, to avoid looking too sexy. But 1 thing you might want to keep in mind when wearing a crop top is that please NEVER show any indications of your belly button... I somehow find that disgusting an inappropriate hehe. What you can do is wear your bottoms a bit high, at least higher than your belly buttons (so i'll be hidden). It is always ok to reveal a bit of your stomach skin, but never, your belly button.
