the show

yesterday night i attended the mazee fashion show @fx. There we're collections from DANJYO-HIYOJI , BENANG by UNIQUE INDONESIA , and O2M. Overall the show was great, i enjoyed it :)

well danjyo hiyoji...the Hodge-Podge Indonesie collection is actually inspired from modern and traditional Indonesian cultures that are combined in a ready to wear collection with bold and bright color of batik cirebon combining with pale pastel. GENIUS! The silhouette and volume of the collection are inspired from local art and culture. And those shoes, aaargh amazing! But i just can't imagine myself wearing those pretty things. I don't know exactly how tall they are, but all i know is that they're mega extreme high -.- let's imagine me wearing those extreme shoes.... Ok, it won't work. I'll look silly as if i'm trying so hard just to be tall. The highest heel i can wear is only 9cm tall, if higher than that, don't even think about it.



well the shawl collections from benang by unique indonesia actually inspirated my mom (YES, i went there with my mom , AND my sister). Indonesian people are getting more creative day by day, and that's a good thing! Any simple outfit can look way to the next level if also worn with any kind of accessories.IT'S TRUE! u know, those shawls are still haunting me... they just won't get away from my mind! oh such pretty things :)



O2M, the ninjas! Well no, i don't think the concept was about ninjas , but i picture them as one and they actually look like one! But they're what i call "ninja"s with great color taste. the whole collection was simple. Good for everyday wear, especially for those who likes being simple and play "safe". And they pretty pay attention in details,little details. But i'm pretty confused with the hand tying thing... i don't know why they actually did that, but it was cool. especially the mask, well actually it was painted on their faces, but i find that also cool :) but now they look like musketters! oh forget it -_-


Well, i guess that's pretty much it! it's late and i want to go to sleep... well no, perhaps just lying down, i'm not really that sleepy.
i was actually preparing for a saman (it's a traditional dance from Indonesia) competition at alseace. trust me my feet hurts like hell! so every school break, we always practice. and your whole body feels torn and it aches everywhere, especially your feet. i repeat, FEET! but i'm actually getting used to it hehe. wish us luck!
